The election process has officially begun in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Sources monitoring the process disclose that voting is going smoothly at Ward 6, Unit 10 in Egwi-Etche, despite earlier concerns about potential disruptions.
While there were apprehensions about security, a limited presence of personnel from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, was observed at the polling unit.
