Dr. Pat Ifeanyi Oramah, Chairman of Oramah Football Club & Academy, has ignited fresh motivation in Nigeria’s Super Falcons ahead of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final by announcing a ₦500,000 reward for each goal scored in the decisive match—on the condition that the team clinches the championship.
Speaking from Abuja, Dr. Oramah lauded the team’s performance throughout the tournament and expressed immense pride in their patriotism, teamwork, and courage. “These women have shown grit, unity, and an unyielding spirit of patriotism. They are not just playing football; they are writing history and lifting the hearts of millions,” he said.
Oramah’s pledge aligns with his academy’s broader vision to uplift women’s football and reward athletic excellence. The financial incentive, he noted, is not only about celebration but about setting a new standard for how female athletes are valued and appreciated in Nigeria.
His announcement comes amid a broader tide of support for the Super Falcons. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the full disbursement of bonuses and allowances for the squad, ensuring that the team steps into the final with morale at its peak.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has also doubled the tournament’s prize money, with the winning team set to pocket USD 1 million (approximately ₦1.5 billion). The Super Falcons have already secured at least USD 200,000 for reaching the quarterfinals, adding to the growing pool of financial incentives awaiting the team.
For a squad chasing a historic 10th WAFCON title, the stakes have never been higher. With Oramah’s personal promise now in the mix, every goal Nigeria scores in the final could mean an additional half a million naira in the hands of the players—beyond national pride and international acclaim.
As anticipation builds for tonight’s showdown in Rabat, Nigeria’s Super Falcons are not just playing for glory—they’re playing for legacy, honor, and a financial windfall fueled by patriotic support.
