As the controversies surrounding the allegations of result forgery levied against an Anambra student, Ejikeme Mmesoma by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board rages, an Android app that may have been used to generate the fake result has been found.
The application named “JAMB-Funfake” was discovered on both the Apple store and Google Play store by some Nigerians in a bid to get to the root of the controversies surrounding Mmesoma’s “fake UTME result.”
JAMB yesterday accused Mmesoma of manually inflating her UTME score through “software” although
did not disclose the name of the software.
Expectedly, many Nigerians on social media have generated “fake” UTME results and displayed them with varying captions.
Towards the verification of the claims in the media space about the app, Rextun City Updates sought the downloaded the app and joined in the “fun” of generating a fictitious JAMB results using imaginary details.
