Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has sacked the state Commissioner for Agriculture, David Apeh with immediate effect.
Two other appointees were relieved of thier appointments. These are, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Emergency Management, Danladin Isah Yunusa, and Hajia Maryam Salifu, Part-time Chairman, Kogi State Hotels and Tourism Board.
Folashade Arike Ayoade, the
Secretary to the State Government (SSG) confirmed the sack of the appointees in a statement in Lokoja on Tuesday 13th June.
The SSG stated that the appointees were sacked by the Governor for gross misconduct.
