PDP Distances Self From Fake Appeal Notice To KWASIEC,

… Reaffirms Commitment to Upcoming Elections

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kwara State Chapter, wishes to categorically distance itself from the false letter being circulated, which alleges that the party has filed a notice of appeal regarding the court ruling on the upcoming local government elections. We firmly state that the PDP has not communicated any such appeal, and our position to stand by court order and participate on this elections remains unchanged.

The circulating letter, which is neither properly signed by any authorized official of the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWASIEC) nor reflective of any legitimate communication, is a deliberate attempt to mislead our members and the public.

We wish to reassure our supporters that the party has mobilized its people across the state, with significant resources and logistics provided by our party’s chieftains, supporters, and our Leader, who remains fully committed to the success of the elections.

The general public and all party members are therefore urged to disregard the fake letter. The PDP is focused on securing victory, and we encourage all our members to continue their mobilisation and proceed to their respective polling unit where voting will be taking place without any distraction.
