In today’s premier league match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United, Marcus Rashford turned out as the hero for Manchester United despite being dropped to the bench for disciplinary reasons after he ‘overslept’.
Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score the winning lone goal for Manchester United against the Wolves.
The England striker pushed a low kick into the net late in the game to give a 1-0 lead to Erik ten Hag’s team.
Wolves, in this first home Premier League game under Julen Lopetegui, competed well throughout and looked set to frustrate United before Rashford’s intervention.
