Indications have reached Rextun City Updates that the kogi State Government have concluded plans to conduct promotion exercises in the state civil service commission for civil servants that have been due for such in the years spanning 2019 to 2022.

According an impeccable source, the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello approved the prayer in a memo sent to him to request approval for the promotion exercise by the chairman of the Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Hon Barr Mohammed T. Musa.

The chairman of the civil service commission in the memo dated 31st October 2022, had prayed His” Excellency is hereby invited to approve the conduct of 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 promotions to qualified and deserving Civil servants and the retired officers within the stipulated years.”

The memo also urged His Excellency to ” kindly direct the Accountant General for the state to implement all promotion areas up to 2018 financially.”
