Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, has been disqualified from the Show Ya Sef reality show after a physical confrontation with fellow housemate Tram over a black shirt. The decision was announced by Big Brother on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, following a review of footage from the incident.
The altercation occurred on Monday night during the final week of the competition. What began as a disagreement over a shirt escalated into a physical fight, prompting intervention from Big Brother and other housemates.
According to reports, the dispute started when Tram accused Keivo of taking his black shirt. Keivo denied the allegation, explaining that he had a similar shirt and objecting to being accused of taking something that did not belong to him.
The argument intensified before the two housemates exchanged blows. Multiple reports said Keivo threw the first punch, after which the confrontation developed into a physical struggle. Other housemates attempted to separate the pair, but the situation continued until Big Brother intervened.
Big Brother subsequently ordered the housemates to freeze and deployed members of the show’s security team, commonly referred to as Ninjas, to contain the situation. Keivo was later escorted from the house.
On Tuesday, Big Brother summoned the remaining housemates to the lounge and showed them footage of the confrontation before delivering his decision. He identified Keivo as the perpetrator of the physical violence and announced his immediate removal from the competition.
“Keivo, as the perpetrator, has been removed from the house. He is therefore disqualified from the house,” Big Brother announced, according to reports of the address.
Big Brother also used the occasion to issue a broader warning to the remaining contestants, stressing that disagreements inside the house should not result in violence. He stated that no accusation or personal grievance justified such conduct and emphasised that “violence is never an option.”
Keivo’s removal came shortly after his name disappeared from the show’s official voting platform, prompting speculation among viewers before the organisers formally announced the disqualification. His exit means he will no longer compete for the season’s grand prize.
The disqualification comes just days before the Show Ya Sef grand finale, scheduled for October 4. The season began with 24 housemates, while Keivo’s departure follows earlier exits, including the disqualification of Nomy. The season’s winner is set to receive a reported ₦160 million grand prize.
