Barely two weeks after an EFCC Operative was shot dead during a sting operation in South East Nigeria, the lifeless body of another operative of the anti graft agency has been found on a Lagos Street.
Several reports says the deceased who was simply identified as Sylvanus was found dead in Lagos State.
The late anticorruption agency staff was clad in traditional attire when he met his assailants as seen in a video that went viral on social media.
It was gathered that eyewitnesses at the scene confirmed his identity via the ID card he was wearing which signified he was a staff of the EFCC.
Voices heard giving opinions in the viral video, including a policeman, stated: “Where e dey work, nah EFCC. His ID card dey there.”
The EFCC has since confirmed he was an employee of the agency via a terse message on Monday afternoon by its spokesperson, Dele Oyewale.

“The death is being investigated,” he stated.
Sylvanus’s death came less than two weeks after the death of another EFCC officer, Aminu Sahabi Salisu, who was shot by a suspected fraudster identified as Joshua Chukwubueze Ikechukwu, an alleged internet fraudster in Awka, Anambra State capital.
