WCQ Failures: Osimhen Chides Finidi, Says Don’t Blame Me

Posted on June 15, 2024June 15, 2024 By Rextun boss No Comments on WCQ Failures: Osimhen Chides Finidi, Says Don’t Blame Me

Napoli goal maker, Victor Osimhen has chided former Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George over his comments on his commitment towards playing for the Super Eagles.

Recall Osimhen missed the Super Eagles recent 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic due to injury.

Finidi, who just resigned his position as Head Coach of the national team, stated that Osimhen could still have managed to play the two matches.

However, the 25-year-old Napoli player struck back at the former coach saying don’t blame me for the failures.

“I asked Finidi George to allow me stay with the players in the camp, but Finidi asked me not to bother that I should stay with my family,” he posted on Instagram.
