Controversial Nigerian musicians Speed Darlington and Portable are set to face off in a celebrity boxing match. on April 18, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos.
The event follows a heated online exchange between the two artists after Speed Darlington offered Portable ₦500,000 to perform at his show, an offer that sparked controversy.
Portable, who described the amount as ridiculous, dismissed Darlington as “poor” and claimed he charges no less than ₦20 million per performance.
