Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone has paid glowing tribute to wrestling icon and actor Hulk Hogan, describing him as a once-in-a-lifetime figure whose impact on entertainment and culture remains unmatched.
In a heartfelt message shared across his official social media accounts on Wednesday, Stallone hailed Hogan as “an irreplaceable force” not only in the world of professional wrestling but also in film and life itself.
“We may never see another like him — a smarter, stronger giant with the heart of a warrior and the soul of a brother,” Stallone wrote. “He was larger than life, both on the screen and off. I count myself lucky to have shared history with him.”
The two stars famously worked together in the 1982 film Rocky III, where Hogan, then rising as a wrestling superstar, portrayed the fearsome Thunderlips opposite Stallone’s iconic Rocky Balboa. The explosive matchup between the boxer and wrestler became a defining scene in the franchise and helped launch Hogan into mainstream stardom.
Stallone reflected on that collaboration, calling it “one of the wildest, most electric moments” of his career. “He threw me across the ring like a feather,” Stallone joked. “But behind all that muscle was a sharp mind and a heart that loved his fans deeply.”
Though rumors had swirled in recent weeks about Hogan’s declining health, no official statement regarding his condition has been released by his family. Stallone’s tribute has only intensified public interest and stirred waves of nostalgia among fans across the globe.

Stallone ended his tribute with a note of gratitude: “He made us cheer, laugh, and believe. Thank you, Hulk, for the thunder. Rest easy, my friend.”
As fans continue to reflect on Hogan’s legendary career and larger-than-life persona, tributes from colleagues, fans, and admirers continue to pour in from around the world.
