The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released call-up numbers for the 2025 Batch C prospective corps members, marking a crucial milestone in the mobilisation process for thousands of Nigerian graduates. This development follows the conclusion of the online registration exercise and verification of the Senate and Academic Board lists submitted by tertiary institutions across the country.
According to an announcement on the NYSC online portal, graduates who successfully completed their registration can now log in to their dashboards to view their unique call-up numbers. The release signifies that such graduates have been formally mobilised for the national service and are eligible to participate in the forthcoming orientation exercise. The NYSC also reminded candidates that the appearance of a call-up number is a vital confirmation that their registration details were accepted and approved.

The management disclosed that the printing of call-up letters for the Batch C stream will commence from November 16 to November 18, 2025. The letter will indicate each corps member’s state of deployment, camp address, reporting date, and other relevant details. Prospective corps members are therefore advised to keep a close eye on the NYSC dashboard to download and print their letters as soon as they become available.
Earlier in the week, the NYSC extended the registration deadline by 48 hours to enable prospective corps members who encountered technical difficulties to complete their registration. The extension, which lasted until midnight of November 11, 2025, was intended to ensure fairness and full participation of all qualified graduates. This gesture was widely applauded by institutions and students who had faced internet connectivity and payment challenges during the initial registration period.

The NYSC explained that the call-up number is different from the call-up letter. While the call-up number serves as a unique identification code assigned to each corps member, the call-up letter provides the full deployment details. Both documents are essential for admission into the orientation camp, and candidates are urged to print and preserve them carefully. Failure to present the correct call-up documents at camp could result in denial of entry or delay in clearance.
Prospective corps members who have not yet seen their call-up numbers are advised to verify that their registration was completed successfully, including making all necessary payments. In cases where the dashboard does not display the number, candidates are encouraged to contact the NYSC support lines or their institution’s NYSC desk officers for assistance. Institutions also play a key role in ensuring that graduate records are accurately uploaded and verified to prevent any mobilisation issues.
As part of preparations for the Batch C orientation, the NYSC reiterated its commitment to ensuring a seamless camping experience across all states. The management said all orientation camps have been inspected and upgraded to meet health and safety standards. Measures such as strict identity verification, improved accommodation, and enhanced medical facilities have been put in place to guarantee a safe and conducive environment for corps members.
Furthermore, the scheme reminded prospective corps members to prepare adequately for the three-week orientation programme by packing all required documents and personal items. These include their Green Card, call-up letter, academic credentials, medical certificate of fitness, and personal effects. The NYSC warned that defaulters or those who present fake documents will face sanctions, including possible prosecution and blacklisting.
With the release of the call-up numbers, excitement and anticipation have heightened among Nigerian graduates awaiting deployment. Many have taken to social media to share screenshots of their dashboards and express gratitude for finally being mobilised. For most of them, the NYSC service year represents a transition from academic life to national contribution, personal growth, and community development.
The NYSC urged all Batch C corps members to remain patient, stay informed through official communication channels, and disregard fake news circulating online. The release of the call-up numbers is just the beginning of the final phase leading to orientation camp, which is expected to commence later in November 2025. With this announcement, another generation of Nigerian youths prepares to embark on a year-long journey of service to the nation.
