A leading figure of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Wale Sulaiman, CON, has extended his congratulations to Prince Sunday Fagbemi and members of the party’s Kwara State Executive Committee following their reaffirmation in office at the recently concluded state congress.
Professor Sulaiman described the outcome of the congress as a clear endorsement of the executives’ leadership capacity and dedication to party growth. He noted that their reaffirmation reflects the trust and confidence party members have in their ability to strengthen internal cohesion, uphold democratic principles, and sustain unity among stakeholders across the state.
He further praised the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, CON, for providing leadership that ensured the congress was conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner. According to him, the rancour-free exercise signals deepening political maturity within the Kwara APC and reinforces the party’s reputation for stability and discipline.
Professor Sulaiman emphasized that inclusive democratic processes encourage shared ownership and collective responsibility in governance. He added that the Kwara APC continues to demonstrate purposeful leadership and remains a model for party organization and harmony.
While wishing the reaffirmed executives a productive tenure, he also expressed confidence that upcoming party primaries would be conducted with credibility, fairness, and transparency.
