Heavily armed bandits have abducted the wife and daughter of Plateau Commissioner for Environment Usman Bamaiyi.
He is also one of the aspirants for a seat in the House of Representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Newsmen gathered the bandits broke into the Gindiri residence of the Commissioner and took away his wife and daughter
Plateau police spokesman ASP Gabriel Ogaba, who confirmed the incident to newsmen in Jos, said: “We are aware of the incident, the police has swung into action on the trail of the kidnappers. Investigation is on going to rescue them.
