Security agencies have since launched investigations into the killings. Police authorities are said to be gathering intelligence and reviewing available evidence with a view to identifying and apprehending those responsible for the attack.
Community leaders and residents have called for increased security patrols and stronger measures to curb violent crimes, urging law enforcement agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice.
