In continued reveling in their top form, Martin Odegaard’s brace gave Arsenal a 2-0 victory away to Wolves on Saturday night, extending their gap as Premier League leaders to five points.
All through the match, we watched an incredibly defensive Wolves in a slow-paced first half that was one-way traffic.
There were occasional counter attack, but didn’t amount to much with the top form and highly motivated Arsenal side.

Mikel Arteta’s side were patient until after the halftime, when they crucially piled up the pressure on their host.
Odegaard tapped in a square ball after 55 minutes, but Wolves continued to be defiantly defensive.
The Gunners had the ball in the back of the net just five minutes after the first whistle, but the score remained goalless with Gabriel Jesus’ effort being judged as offside.
As expected, Arsenal dominated possession from there on which Wolves were happy to allow, with their game plan clearly to wait for a counter attack.
Jesus came close again after 35 minutes, hitting the crossbar after picking the ball up from Bukayo Saka’s pass, but was again flagged offside.
With 15 minutes to go, Arsenal had got back into controling and dominating.
Dispossessing Wolves in their own half, they swarmed the box and found a second goal when Odegaard fired in a rebound for 2-0.
