Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have recorded another significant battlefield success in Borno State, neutralising several terrorists and crippling their supply chain in a coordinated military operation.
According to military sources, the operation involved a precision airstrike carried out by the Air Component targeting a known terrorist enclave and logistics hub. The strike led to the elimination of multiple insurgents and the destruction of critical supply materials used to sustain their activities.
The targeted site was identified as a key node in the terrorists’ logistics network, where weapons, ammunition, and other essential supplies were stored and distributed to fighters across the region. Its destruction is expected to significantly weaken the operational capacity of insurgent groups active in the North-East.
Security officials noted that the strike forms part of ongoing intensified offensives aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure, restricting movement, and cutting off supply routes that enable sustained attacks on both civilians and military formations.
This latest success builds on a series of recent operations in Borno and neighbouring states, where troops have increasingly focused on disrupting logistics chains rather than only engaging fighters directly. Analysts say this strategy is critical, as it targets the backbone of insurgent operations—supply, mobility, and coordination.
The North-East, particularly Borno State, has remained the epicentre of insurgent activities linked to Boko Haram and ISWAP, with military authorities sustaining pressure through both ground offensives and aerial bombardments.
Military sources reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining momentum in the counter-insurgency campaign, stressing that continued strikes on supply networks will further degrade the terrorists’ ability to regroup or launch fresh attacks.
