SA Political Communications to Kwara State Governor
Opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party has once again attempted to pull the wool over the face of the people of Kwara by criticizing the giant strides of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and justify the show of shame by their leader at the Ilorin Central Mosque last Friday.
Wahab Oba, a political parasite,apologist of the displaced dynasty and former spokesman of Governor Fatah Ahmed lied through his teeth by giving a false account of the disrespect of Bukola Saraki to our revered Maimartaba, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari at the central mosque where he went with his thugs to distrupt the religious gathering.
It is a known fact that Bukola is a power – missed road ,rude arrogant power monger .
Years after his disgraceful world – wide record fall from power , Bukola is yet to internalize the historic lesson of his disgraceful fall from his inherited but displaced dynasty which can be summarized mainly as egocentrism , arrogance , greed and impunity .
Disillusioned and lost in dementia that Kwara people had forgotten how disrespectful he had always been to his elders and even traditional rulers .
Could we have forgotten how the ingrate and potential tyrant lined up our revered traditional rulers to host comedian and cows?
How on Earth could one fathom Wahab Oba’s arrant misrepresentation of same ingrate displaying this again at the central mosque by disrespecting the Chief of Staff to the President ,Professor Ibrahim Gambari, an elder Statesman, former external affairs Minister , former Deputy Secretary General of United Nation , an accomplished diplomat ,a renown Professor of Political Science , a global citizen and a prince of the Emirate and in company of the incumbent Governor , the no 1 citizen and Chief Security Officer of the State , Mallam AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq as the Chief Host ?
In an open insult to the integrity and sensitivity of the people of Ilorin Emirate in particular and Kwara at large ,Oba tries in vain to create a false rift between our exemplary Governor and the emirate; a familiar road employed by Bukola his rejected dynasty to blackmail late Admiral Muhammad Lawal , a former Governor of the State against the traditional institutions and Ulama in the Ilorin Emirate .
This won’t work for the crumbled dynasty.
The Peoples Governor , AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq has a memorable inseparable family history and legacy with the traditional institution , the making of the Emirate and the State and personally holds the Emir and the emirate in high esteem.
Oba referred to the cancellation of the 2021 Durbar festival due to security concerns but in his amnesia, he forgot that durbar was held this year as a result of the Governor’s unprecedented investment and political commitment to make Ilorin and the State safe and secured and positive security report by law enforcement agencies.
Like many other accolades on Governor AbdulRazaq , tourists and leading global stakeholders including UNESCO have applauded the just concluded Ilorin durbar as the best ever in the history of the Emirate .
We are not surprised that the dynasty is pained with the accomplishments of our uncommon Governor. Unlike their regime known for using fake city projects in the State capital to launder the peoples’ patrimony ,Governor AbdulRazaq has emerged the best State Governor with acknowledged life touching,visible, laudable projects across the 193 wards in the state.
is it not ridiculous that Oba has the temerity to blame the present administration for the failing of the Geri Alimi underpass when Kwara would recall how the contractor rushed to handover the project after the PDP government fell like park of cards in the 2019 General Elections?
The PDP left behind legacy of destruction, impunity, violence, cultism and pillaging of our common patrimony
Kwara has not forgotten how the dynasty backed PDP in their greed, shared Government property within and outside the state and attempted to sell the Eid Prayer ground.
We also want to remind the men of yesterday in power how the Saraki’s administration demolished the multi-million naira head office of The Herald Newspaper along the New Yidi road, how the administration abandoned the late Governor Lawal’s robust Ilorin water project, the students hostel at Kwara Polytechnic by Lawal’s administration and the collapse of Trade Bank under the dynasty regime
It is also on recorded that the Shonga farms was used to siphon money from the treasury and the end result is heavy indebteness to banks while the White farmers who contributed nothing has fled the State; subjecting thousands of once prosperous Nupe farmers and potential leaders of the state to unemployment and scavengers .
Governor AbdulRazaq has started a new Kwara from the wreckage and ruins left by the PDP. A new Kwara where there are equal opportunities for children of the rich and the poor.
We sympathize with Oba and his masters in PDP who live under the illusion of returning to power to continue the looting of our commonwealth. This will continue to be an illusion because the People of Kwara now know the difference. PDP has nothing to offer other than pain and misery. Never again!
