In a striking display of organic support for Governor Fubara, thousands of women took to the streets of Port Harcourt today, uniting in a call for his reinstatement.
The demonstration by Fubara supporters stands in stark contrast to last Monday’s allegedly orchestrated protest by allies of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

Today’s protest saw a staggering number of women marching in support of Governor Fubara.
This outpouring of public support further highlights growing concerns over potential ulterior motives behind the recent state of emergency imposed in Rivers State by President Tinubu.
Recent reports revealed that Minister Wike, accompanied by Barri Mpigi and other political figures, secretly met with the Sole Administrator to submit a list of LGA Sole Administrators and discuss strategies to justify an extension of the state of emergency in Rivers State.
Alarmingly, sources disclosed that plans to trigger a crisis in the state were discussed in an effort to lend credibility to their political maneuvers.

A Port Harcourt resident, who chose to remain anonymous, voiced concerns over the Sole Administrator’s apparent one-sidedness and alleged subservience to FCT Minister Wike under President Tinubu’s direction.
The resident condemned the increasingly mafia-like functioning of the country’s leadership, expressing fear that Nigeria’s international standing could suffer under such circumstances.
