Two Premier League games played simultaneously on Sunday produced all draws.
Nottingham Forest managed to secure a 1-1 draw against Chelsea despite playing with ten men, while Manchester United faced a tough battle against Aston Villa, which ended in a goalless draw.
Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, was under intense scrutiny, but the Premier League giants showed resilience in their draw against Aston Villa.
Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe witnessed the match, where United displayed some defensive strength lacking in previous games.
With defender Harry Maguire absent due to injury, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes created opportunities for United. Rashford tested Villa’s goalkeeper twice, and Fernandes hit the bar with a free kick, but the game ended with no goal.
Meanwhile, both teams displayed tactical prowess in a feisty draw in the match between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.
