…Witty, Entertaining Retrospections and Predictions
The two top teams at the League table in England for the first time this season lost their matches same week.

Arsenal should have been 8 points clear at the top of the table with Manchester City’s loss yesterday. While the latter should have reduced the points deficit by just two points. Arsenal, as visitors, are yet to defeat Everton at Goodison Park. Same thing with Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspurs stadium. In fact, the Citizens are yet to score a goal at the New White Hart Lane.
Anything can still happen.
Arsenal, still on a shaky note as this period most times begins their inconsistent form right from the 2003/2004 era when it last won the League.
It was a victory-laden downpour for the relegation teams. Wolverhampton, Nottingham Forest, and Everton all won their games. Southampton still remain bottom at the bottom of the League. The relegation survival is getting fiercer. Liverpool’s woes continues. Chelsea always struggling with goals despite a record breaking January transfer.
Elsewhere, in Italy, Napoli is in their finest form ever since the Maradona era. That was the last time they won the League. They are leading with the most massive points difference from their closest rival among Europe’s top five Leagues.

In Spain, Barcelona is leading their arch rival, Real Madrid with 8 points.
PSG manages to top the League in France. Bad news is that Mbappe is out for now.
And Jamal Musiala’s maestro continues in Germany as Bayern Munich defeats Wolfsburg 4:2 to stay at the top, not forgetting a Kingsley Coman’s brace.
Next week, the Champions League and the Europa League continues.
