A Nigerian lady, Bena also known as Bennie, has recounted her journey into Prostitution Abroad, abandoning her marriage and children, in a bid to ‘japa’ (travel away) from economic adversities, and a carefree spouse.
Bennie in a trending video clip, narrated her ordeals, detailing the deception and lure of a friend in cohot with a trafficking syndicate, how she jumped at the disguised offer of a promising job abroad.
She lamented how she found out only after arrival abroad that the promised job was Prostitution. Alongside her friend, she described the hellish condition of prostituting day and night to pay off her Madam who financed the trip abroad. As at the time of recording the clip, Bennie was still indebted to the trafficking syndicate madam, a sum close to three million Naira.
Bennie spoke in pidgin English. In her words, “since I enter this Yankee, na ashawo work I dey do. My name na Bena but they dey call me Bennie. I originally from Lagos but because of povery, I had to leave my parents, my husband and children to travel abroad. The abroad wey fun turn to hell for me now. Na everyday I dey regret this decision …”

Explaining the pitiable conditions she lived in before taking the regretful decision to follow her friend abroad, Bennie described the neglect and lack of care for her and her children from the man she married.
According to her, she had a job in Lagos but the take home was inadequate to meet her needs which included family issues.
“No be say I no get work o, I been get work but the money no dey reach any where ” she stated.
” The problem that time be say you go just marry, you dey with man, e no dey take care of you, e no dey pay my bills, only when he wan do, he go carry himself come climb my body and when he do finish, he go comot and after that, na oyo for you o. My husband no send you…”
” I don make vow say after I pay this woman her three million Naira, I go carry myself jeje come back Nigeria, I better stay my father land in poverty than to dry do these things wey I dey do here” She said in resolution.
Further she lamented that the trade of Prostitution has in fact not been profitable for her since she found herself in it.
According to her, “and no be say I dey see one better money, all the money went I dey make, na to pay this my friend madam her money went she take pay our flight, our accomodation”
” I don lose my marriage because long throat for money and outside country wan kill me”
She concluded her Saga requesting the wide sharing of her story to serve as deterrence to others that are in danger of falling into her errors.
” Please help me tell this story to everyone out there. As una dey ginger to travel, if you no dey travel with your money or your company money, no even start, make no body promise you anything…”
