President Muhammadu Buhari has on Thursday 17th November ordered the immediate removal of the Director General of the National Youths Service Corps, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Fadah.
Information reaching Rextun City Updates have it that Fadah was removed over alleged incompetence on the position.
This is coming just six months after he assumed office. Recall he took over in May 2022 becoming the 19th NYSC Director General.
The directives for his reported removal further directed Brigadier General Fadah to hand over to the most senior official within the NYSC.
Sources disclosed that when contacted, NYSC spokesperson, Eddy Megwa said the Corps will be issuing an official statement on the development today, Friday.
