The Super Eagles of Nigeria were at the receiving end of a Portuguese punishment on Thursday after falling to a 4-0 defeat to a Cristiano Ronaldo-less Side.

In a much anticipated international friendly match, the Nigerian side seem lack lustre in a first half that ended two goals to nothing for them.
The super Eagles came into the second half with a better go at the game but was not enough to stop the team being whipped 4-0 at the end of regulation time.
The Super Eagles missed the maverick player and goal banger Osimen whose doctor called in to say he would be off playing action for fifteen days following a back pain he is experiencing after his last match.
Having been diagnosed of gastroenteritis, Christiano Ronaldo was also out of action in spite of which the Portuguese team whipped the Super Eagles.
