Boxing day fixtures was definitely one of the day to strut as a gunner.
Arsenal completed a stunning second-half comeback to beat West Ham 3-1 at Emirates Stadium and go seven points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Earlier in the first half, Said Benrahma jolted the league leaders by putting West Ham in front from the penalty spot after William Saliba’s foul on Jarrod Bowen.
Afterwards, Arsenal had a penalty award of their own overturned by VAR in first-half stoppage time.
Bukayo Saka equalised in the 53rd minute when he coolly converted from Martin Odegaard’s shot.
From that point on Arsenal became relentless. Gabriel Martinelli fired in a second goal six minutes after Bukayo’s opener.
Eddie Nketiah, played at centre-forward in Gabriel Jesus’ injury absence, he delivered a wonderful third goal to seal the victory of the day.
Meanwhile reigning league Champions, Manchester City, are eight points behind the Gunners with just a game in hand.
