Manchester City have shown indication they are now willing to pay out as much as €150 million for Arsenal-linked superstar Rodrygo next summer.
The Real Madrid attacker is an important figure in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans, and it is difficult to see him leave the Santiago Bernabeu in less than 12 months time.
However, sources have claimed that the Brazilian is unhappy with his status at the club and that he is open to new offers.
Arsenal have been linked with the player for the past few months, with rumours stating that Mikel Arteta views him as a marquee signing who can drastically improve his team’s attacking output.
But they are not alone in this race, with reigning English champions Man City also entering the fray.
The Blues are reportedly willing to pay an astronomical club-record fee to sign the 23-year-old in 2025.
