The United States has added 10 more Nigerians to its public register of foreign nationals described by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as among the “worst of the worst” criminal offenders arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The latest development forms part of the Trump administration’s continuing immigration enforcement campaign.
The names and photographs of the Nigerians were published by US immigration authorities alongside details of the offences associated with their cases. The latest update was released on August 28, 2026, adding another group of Nigerian nationals to a register that is regularly updated by the US authorities.
The 10 Nigerians identified are Temitope Bashua, Ojehoro Lewis, Osemudiamen Kingsley Oziegbe, Daniel Oworen, Raymond H. Ekevwo, Franklin Dikeocha, Johnson Ogunlana, Chukwuemeka Okorocha, Tunde Korede and Chukwuemeka Chinye. Their cases are linked to different allegations ranging from financial crimes to drug and weapons offences.
According to the information published alongside the names, Bashua, who is listed in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, is associated with wire fraud, identity theft and fraud. Lewis, listed in Conroe, Texas, is linked to an allegation involving cruelty towards a child, while Oziegbe, in Louisville, Kentucky, is associated with wire fraud.
Daniel Oworen, listed in Conroe, Texas, is associated with a dangerous-drugs offence, while Raymond H. Ekevwo, listed in Oxford, Wisconsin, is linked to wire fraud. Franklin Dikeocha, whose case is listed in Dallas, Texas, is associated with a sexual offence involving a child, specifically fondling.
The list also names Johnson Ogunlana, who is associated with fraud and identity theft in White Deer, Pennsylvania. Chukwuemeka Okorocha, listed in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, has several offences associated with his case, including wire fraud, dangerous drugs, possession of a weapon and aggravated assault involving a non-family gun.
Tunde Korede, also listed in Allenwood, is associated with conspiracy, while Chukwuemeka Chinye, listed in Pollock, Louisiana, is associated with larceny from a banking-type institution, fraud, larceny, identity theft and conspiracy.
DHS said its register is intended to draw attention to individuals it categorises as serious criminal offenders arrested by ICE. The department said the initiative reflects the administration’s policy of prioritising immigration enforcement against people it considers serious criminal threats and undocumented immigrants.
The latest publication follows earlier releases involving Nigerian nationals. In February 2026, DHS published the names of 79 Nigerians on the same register, while reports in July indicated that the number of Nigerians featured had risen to 124. The continuing updates demonstrate the scale of the immigration enforcement campaign affecting Nigerians in the United States.
However, the publication of the latest 10 names does not mean that the individuals have already been deported. US authorities have not announced specific deportation dates for them, and inclusion on the register reflects ICE enforcement actions and allegations associated with their cases. The development comes as the Trump administration continues its broader campaign of mass deportation, with ICE focusing particularly on immigrants accused or convicted of serious offences.
