Arsenal are facing new injury concerns after Bukayo Saka was forced off during their emphatic 5-0 victory over Leeds United at the Emirates.
The England winger appeared to tweak his left hamstring after gliding past a Leeds defender and switching play out wide. Moments later, he pulled up in visible discomfort, prompting Mikel Arteta to replace him with Leandro Trossard before the hour mark.

Saka’s setback comes as another blow for Arsenal, with captain Martin Ødegaard also leaving the pitch in the first half due to a suspected shoulder issue. Despite the injuries, Jurrien Timber and Viktor Gyökeres added further gloss to the scoreline, sealing a dominant win for the Gunners.
The worry for supporters is that Saka has previously struggled with hamstring problems, missing a stretch of last season with a similar complaint. Arteta admitted after the match that the matter could be “significant,” sparking theories that Arsenal may once again be without one of their most influential players for an extended period.
Alongside Saka and Ødegaard, midfielder Kai Havertz is also facing time away from the squad, leaving Arteta with mounting selection headaches ahead of a busy run of fixtures.
