Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON, has congratulated the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 election, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Salihu Danladi, on his conferment with the traditional title of Ciroma of Gwanara Emirate.
The traditional honour was announced during the 2026 Gani Festival held in Gwanara, Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State, where Danladi was formally recognised with the title.
In a congratulatory message, Prof. Sulaiman described the conferment as a significant honour and extended his best wishes to the Kwara State Assembly Speaker on the recognition.
He noted that the traditional title reflects Danladi’s connection with the people and traditional institution of Gwanara, while commending the honour bestowed on him.
Prof. Sulaiman further expressed confidence that the recognition would serve as an encouragement to Danladi as he continues to discharge his responsibilities in public service.
He prayed that Allah (SWT) would grant the Speaker wisdom, good health and strength to effectively carry out his responsibilities and remain committed to the development of Gwanara.
He also wished Danladi continued success in his efforts towards the advancement of Kwara State and Nigeria.
The conferment adds a traditional dimension to the public recognition of Danladi, who currently serves as Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and is the APC candidate for the 2027 governorship election in the state.
